SUMMARY

Sells tickets and concession items, cleans theatre, and provides excellent customer service by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Itemizes transactions on cash register and accepts payment for tickets and concession items.

Stocks and replenishes all concession items.

Counts and records concession inventory.

Pops popcorn and maintains cleanliness of machinery.

Maintains cleanliness of halls, lobby, rest rooms, box office, concession stand, and the theatre exterior.

Routinely monitors theatre auditoriums to ensure top picture quality, sound and viewing environment.

Regularly updates indoor and outdoor theatre signage.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to greet customers clearly and courteously and attend to them promptly. Knowledge of current film show times and content. Ability to inform management as necessary of customer complaints or operating problems.

JUDGMENT & FOCUS

Ability to remain calm and focused during peak business times. Ability to judge correctly when to act independently or refer the situation to management. Ability to work efficiently and, if necessary, unsupervised, during all hours and levels of business.

Must keep informed of and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

OTHER

Candidate must meet all minimum working age requirements as defined by state law. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and a reasonable share of holidays.
